The Ouham River
The river runs past the town as a long, curving line. It is the clearest natural feature on the map and anchors the whole composition.

Bozoum Map Poster & Print
Bozoum sits on the Ouham River in the prefecture of Ouham-Pendé, in the north-west of the Central African Republic. From above, the river is the strongest feature. It curves past the town and sets the orientation for everything built around it, while low-rise neighbourhoods spread out loosely on the higher ground nearby.
The street network is open and irregular. A few main roads connect the town to the wider region, and between them, smaller tracks divide residential compounds and plots. The edges of the town fade gradually into savanna and farmland instead of stopping at a clear boundary. In black and white, this reads as a soft-edged, organic shape.
A Bozoum map poster shows a place that rarely appears in print at all. For people from the town, for aid and development workers who have lived there, or for anyone with ties to the region, it records the real layout of the streets, the river and the surrounding land, clearly and without decoration.

Radiating main roads
A few principal routes lead out of town in different directions. They form a loose star shape that connects Bozoum to the rest of the prefecture.
Open residential fabric
Between the main roads, a web of smaller tracks divides compounds and plots. The pattern is irregular and gets sparser towards the town's edges.
