Main road spine
The highway through the district runs straight through Catandica, and the town's streets branch off it, giving the map a clear central line.

Catandica Map Poster & Print
Catandica is the main town of Bárue district in Manica province, in the uplands of central Mozambique. On the map it appears as a compact centre along the main road running north from the Chimoio area toward Tete, with a small network of streets on either side. Beyond this core, the pattern changes quickly into tracks and paths leading to scattered homesteads and fields.
The landscape around the town is upland country, with hills and farmland, and the roads outside the centre follow the easiest routes across the terrain. On a black-and-white print, the main road forms a strong line through the frame, and the town gathers around it. The looser outer tracks spread out like thin roots toward the surrounding villages.
A Catandica map poster shows a district town at the scale where everyone knows the centre: the main road, the market streets and the lanes leading outward. It's a modest and honest map, without invented details, suited to people from the town and the district who want a record of its shape.

Compact centre
A small network of streets near the road forms the core of the town, and it stands out as a denser patch against the open land around it.
Outward tracks
Beyond the centre, thin paths and tracks spread toward farms and villages, drawing fine lines that fade into the edges of the frame.
