Interstate 10 crossing
The freeway runs straight across the community from west to east. It divides the map clearly and serves as the main reference line for the surrounding streets.

Channelview Map Poster & Print
Channelview is an unincorporated community in Harris County, east of Houston. Its name points to its setting: the Houston Ship Channel runs along its southern side, and the San Jacinto River borders it to the east. Interstate 10 crosses the area from west to east, cutting a strong straight line through the middle of the map.
Much of the area is industrial, so the map mixes suburban cul-de-sacs with the large geometric blocks of petrochemical plants, tank farms and rail sidings. Between them, winding bayous and patches of wetland break up the pattern. Residential streets tend to be curved and inward-facing, while the plant sites are wide and rectilinear.
A Channelview map poster shows the Gulf Coast industrial landscape honestly. Water, highway, railway and plant sites all fit together at a scale that is hard to grasp from the ground. For anyone who lives or works there, the aerial view makes the neighbourhood's relationship to the channel and the river easy to read.

San Jacinto River edge
To the east, the river and its wetlands form a soft, irregular boundary. The organic edge contrasts with the straight lines of the industrial sites nearby.
Channel-side industry
Toward the Ship Channel, large plant sites and rail spurs create a pattern of rectangles and tracks. These shapes look surprisingly graphic in black and white.

Miért Channelview?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Channelview is often seen only from the freeway. A map poster shows the whole community at once: the neighbourhoods, the bayous, and the industrial edge along the water. It suits people who grew up there as well as those whose careers were spent in the plants along the channel.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, then pick a style. Blueprint suits the industrial character, and Classic, Noir, Paper and Sand are also available. The digital download costs $9 and includes six print sizes. Framed or unframed prints ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
