Río Ramos
The river curves past the town in loose bends, bordered by vegetation. It is the only strongly organic line on a map otherwise shaped by roads and parcels.

Ciudad de Allende Map Poster & Print
Ciudad de Allende, usually just called Allende, is a town in the Mexican state of Nuevo León, south-east of Monterrey on the old Carretera Nacional, Federal Highway 85. The Sierra Madre Oriental rises to the west, and the town lies on lower ground where the mountains give way to the plain. On the map, a compact centre of regular blocks is bordered by orchards and fields.
The Río Ramos passes close to the town. Its winding, tree-lined course shows on the map as a soft, meandering line against the straighter roads. The area is part of the citrus-growing belt of central Nuevo León, and the rows and parcels of orchards give the surroundings a fine, regular texture. The highway is the main north–south axis.
A Ciudad de Allende map poster brings together three clear elements: the river, the highway and the grid between them. It fits families from the town, people who commute to Monterrey but come home to Allende, and anyone who knows the drive south through the orchards toward Montemorelos.

Carretera Nacional
Federal Highway 85 runs through the area as the main link to Monterrey in the north and Montemorelos in the south. It forms the backbone of the composition.
Orchard parcels
Fields and orchards surround the town in neat parcels, part of Nuevo León's citrus-growing region. They give the outskirts a finely ruled texture.

Miért Ciudad de Allende?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Allende is the kind of town people return to at weekends for family, for the river or for the quiet after Monterrey. A map of it on the wall keeps that sense of return close. The balance of water, road and grid makes it a satisfying print to live with.
Set the title to Allende or Ciudad de Allende, add a subtitle with a date or a name, and keep the coordinates. Choose one of five styles and preview it free at 900 px. Printed posters ship from partners in 30+ countries, or the HD files are $9.
