Contour-following roads
Residential streets curve and loop around hills and ridges, creating an irregular, flowing pattern that clearly reflects the rolling, wooded terrain underneath.

Cortlandt Manor Map Poster & Print
Cortlandt Manor is a hamlet in the Town of Cortlandt, in the northern part of Westchester County, New York, and wraps around the city of Peekskill. The name goes back to the colonial-era Van Cortlandt manor, a large land grant along the Hudson. On a map it is suburban and rural at once: no single centre, but a spread of residential roads following the contours of wooded hills.
The street pattern here is shaped by terrain. Roads bend around ridges and valleys, and cul-de-sacs branch off into forested slopes. Small lakes and reservoirs appear as solid shapes among the lines, and major routes cut through on longer, smoother curves. The Hudson River lies close to the west, and the highlands beyond it hint at the larger landscape.
A Cortlandt Manor map poster shows a place defined by topography rather than planning. Framed to include Peekskill and the river, it gives a clear sense of how the hamlet sits within the Hudson Valley. In a single colour, the curling roads and scattered water bodies read as a loose, organic drawing.

Lakes and reservoirs
Small bodies of water are scattered among the neighbourhoods and appear as solid, rounded shapes that break up the road network and give the map points of rest.
Near the Hudson
The Hudson River runs close by to the west, and including it in the frame adds a broad, strong edge that places the hamlet within the wider valley.

Miért Cortlandt Manor?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Cortlandt Manor is the kind of place people settle into for years, and a map of it captures daily life: the drive home, the lake down the road, the route toward the river. It makes a quiet, personal piece for a living room or a first family home.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a surname, an address or the year you arrived, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the winding roads stand out especially well.
