Historic core
The oldest part of the town forms a tight cluster of narrow, irregular lanes, clearly distinct on the map from the wider, straighter streets of later growth.

Dipalpur Map Poster & Print
Dipalpur lies in Okara District in the Punjab province of Pakistan, on the flat, irrigated plain between the Ravi and Sutlej rivers. On the map, the town has a compact, closely packed centre, with narrow streets that suggest its age, and newer neighbourhoods spreading outward along the main roads. Around it, canals and field boundaries draw a fine rectilinear pattern across the land.
Dipalpur is one of the older towns of the Punjab, with a history reaching back many centuries, and remains of its old fortifications can still be traced around the historic core. It was an important administrative centre during the Delhi Sultanate. Today it is a market town for the surrounding farmland, which produces wheat, cotton and other crops.
A Dipalpur map poster contrasts two kinds of order: the intricate, organic streets of the old town and the straight canals and fields of the irrigated plain around it. The result is a composition with a dense focal point and an even, quietly structured border that frames the town much as the farmland frames it on the ground.

Canal network
Irrigation canals cross the surrounding plain in long straight lines, part of the system that made this part of Punjab one of the most productive farming regions in the country.
Radiating roads
Main roads lead out of the town toward neighbouring towns and villages, giving the map a set of strong lines that extend from the centre to the edges of the frame.
