Two Tay bridges
The road and rail bridges stretch across the estuary toward Fife, two long straight strokes over open water that anchor the southern half of the poster.

Dundee Map Poster & Print
Dundee faces south across the Firth of Tay, and from above the city looks like a long strip of streets pressed between water and hill. The centre sits close to the shoreline, neighbourhoods rise behind it in layers, and the suburbs extend east toward Broughty Ferry and west along the estuary. At its heart stands the Law, the remains of an ancient volcano, now a green hill with wide views.
Two bridges define the map's southern edge. The Tay Road Bridge carries traffic to Fife, and a little upstream the Tay Rail Bridge, over three kilometres long, replaced the structure that collapsed in the storm of 1879. On the waterfront, the V&A Dundee museum and the polar research ship RRS Discovery reflect a city once known for jute, jam and journalism.
A Dundee map poster pairs a dense urban core with the broad, open water of the Tay. In black and white, the estuary becomes a calm expanse, the bridges draw fine lines across it, and the streets on the rising ground behind the waterfront fan out in tightly packed terraces. The Law appears as a quiet open space near the centre.

The Law
This volcanic hill rises just north of the centre, a round patch of open ground surrounded by dense streets and crowned by a war memorial and a well-known viewpoint.
Waterfront
The redeveloped riverside, home to the V&A Dundee and RRS Discovery, gives the city centre a clear edge where the pattern of streets meets the water.

Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For graduates of its universities, for families with roots in its old industries, or for anyone who has crossed the Tay at dusk, Dundee is a distinctive place to keep on the wall. The estuary alone makes it one of Scotland's most graphic city maps.
