Dunga Bunga Map Poster & Print
Dunga Bunga is a town in Bahawalnagar District, in the southern part of Pakistan's Punjab, not far from the border with India. The land is flat and intensively farmed, and the town sits in the middle of it as a compact cluster of streets. A bazaar area forms the densest part of the plan, and residential lanes extend from it before giving way to open ground.
The defining feature of the wider map is the irrigation system. Canals and distributaries run in long straight lines, and the fields between them are divided into narrow, regular parcels. Village roads follow the same logic, so the countryside around the town has a strong, repeating texture. The town appears as a concentrated knot where these lines meet.
The local economy depends on agriculture, and crops such as cotton and wheat are grown across the surrounding district. A Dunga Bunga map poster shows how a small Punjabi town sits within an engineered farm landscape, with the lines of its canals and field boundaries stretching well beyond the edge of the town.
