Estate outlines
Several streets follow the edges of former estates and gardens, so the map shows curved blocks and long walls where you might expect rows of regular lots.

Eaubonne Map Poster & Print
Eaubonne sits in the Val-d'Oise, a short distance north of Paris, on the gentle slopes that run down from the Montmorency forest. From above it has no single grid. Streets curve around the outlines of old estates and walled gardens, and house plots fill the spaces between them. The result is a close, irregular street pattern that feels settled rather than planned.
The town's best-known story is literary. In the eighteenth century Sophie d'Houdetot stayed at Eaubonne, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau walked over from nearby Montmorency to visit her, an episode he later recalled in his Confessions. That era survives mostly in the shape of the land: large parcels, tree-lined edges and a few long avenues that still divide the town.
A Eaubonne map poster shows this suburban texture in fine black lines. Rail corridors cut firm straight strokes through the softer network of residential lanes, and patches of green mark parks and old grounds. Set beside a map of central Paris, it shows how the capital thins out into towns with their own shape and their own history.

Rail corridors
Suburban rail lines toward Pontoise and Paris run past the town as clean diagonals, a useful anchor in an otherwise gently winding street network.
Toward the forest
The ground rises north toward the Montmorency forest, and the denser lanes of Eaubonne give way to greener, looser edges on that side of the map.

Miért Eaubonne?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
People hang Eaubonne because it is home, or was: the street where a family grew up, the walk to the station, the school on the corner. A map holds those routes quietly, without a photograph's specific moment, and it sits easily in a hallway or study.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, adding a family name or a moving-in date. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white and Noir to Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and order a digital HD file for $9 or a printed poster.
