Sandown Park
The racecourse beside the town centre forms a large oval enclosure. It is a clean geometric shape that stands out immediately among the surrounding streets.

Esher Map Poster & Print
Esher lies in Surrey on the southwestern edge of London, and from above it reads less as a dense town than as residential streets set among open land. Large commons and woodland cover much of the ground to the south, and the A3 bypass cuts across in a broad sweep. The High Street runs through the older centre, where the main roads meet.
Sandown Park racecourse fills a large site beside the town centre, and its oval track is one of the most recognisable shapes on the map. To the south, Claremont Landscape Garden, now cared for by the National Trust, preserves an early eighteenth-century garden with a lake and an amphitheatre cut into the turf.
An Esher map poster sets these open spaces against the curving residential roads around them, so the composition shows more open ground than built-up streets. The racecourse, the commons and the nearby River Mole give the print distinct edges and landmarks. That makes it easy to recognise, even for people who know the area only from the train.

Claremont garden
The National Trust landscape garden to the south includes a lake and a turf amphitheatre. On the map it appears as a quiet open area crossed by winding paths.
Esher Common
Wide areas of heath and woodland south of the town leave broad white spaces on the print, crossed by the A3 and a handful of minor roads.

Miért Esher?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Esher is a place where people settle for the long term, and a map of its streets often marks a new home, a childhood spent near the commons or years of commuting into London. The balance of streets and open land makes it a particularly calm image for a wall.
Change the title and subtitle to suit the occasion, set the coordinates to your street, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Order a matte print with an optional wooden frame, or download the $9 HD files and print them yourself.
