Old city core
Around the historic centre, the streets follow irregular lines left by the former walled town. This small tangle stands apart from the straighter grid of later neighbourhoods.

Fengshan Map Poster & Print
Fengshan is now a district of Kaohsiung, but it was once a separate city and, before that, the seat of Fengshan County under the Qing. The map shows a closely built urban fabric east of central Kaohsiung. The older core is a web of irregular streets. Beyond it are the straighter grids and wide boulevards of the districts that grew later.
Traces of the Qing town survive. Fragments of the old city walls and gates stand among modern streets, and the Fengyi Academy is among the best-preserved of its kind in Taiwan. It is a Confucian academy founded in the early nineteenth century and carefully restored. The Fengshan River flows through the district toward the harbour, adding a slim line of water to the dense grid.
Fengshan is also home to Weiwuying, the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts. It was built on the site of a former military training ground and sits within a large park. Its sweeping roof and the open lawns around it form a rare open space in a closely built district. A Fengshan map poster captures both the old county seat and this modern landmark.

Fengshan River
The river crosses the district in a narrow, slightly winding course. Frequent bridges cross it as it flows on toward the harbour of Kaohsiung.
Weiwuying park
On the district's western side, the park and the arts centre's broad, flowing roof create an unusual stretch of open space within the dense city.

Miért Fengshan?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Many people grew up in Fengshan and now live elsewhere in Taiwan or abroad. A poster that frames the old core, the river and your own street keeps that connection visible. Add a title, a subtitle and coordinates that point to a family home or school.
There are five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the district's dense grid. The $9 download covers six print sizes, including 30×40 cm and 50×70 cm, as 300 DPI PNG and PDF files without a watermark.
