Grapevine Lake
The reservoir's northern shore forms Flower Mound's southern edge. Its long arms and coves make a large, irregular white shape that balances the dense street pattern.

Flower Mound Map Poster & Print
Flower Mound is a town in southern Denton County, in the northwest part of the Dallas–Fort Worth area. It takes its name from an actual mound, a small hill covered with native prairie grasses and wildflowers, which is still preserved as open land. The town has grown around it into one of the region's larger residential communities.
On the map, Flower Mound looks unmistakably suburban. Main roads divide the land into large sections, and within each section residential streets curve into loops and cul-de-sacs. To the south, the town reaches the shore of Grapevine Lake, whose irregular arms and inlets form the most dramatic shape on the sheet. Parks and green corridors fill many gaps.
A Flower Mound map poster turns these patterns into a pleasing design. The arterial roads create a clear framework, the curving neighbourhood streets add rhythm, and the lake takes up a large area in the south. It is a map with a lot of detail and very little noise, well suited to a family home in the neighbourhood it shows.

The mound
The town's namesake hill is preserved as a patch of native prairie. On the map it appears as an open space inside the surrounding roads.
Curving neighbourhoods
Between straight arterial roads, residential streets bend into loops and cul-de-sacs. From above they create a soft, repeated pattern typical of north Texas suburbs.
