Gomoh Map Poster & Print
Gomoh lies in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district, in the coal-mining belt of eastern India, and it owes its existence to the railway. The station is an important junction on the main line between the Kolkata region and northern India. On the map, the tracks and yards are the most striking feature. They form wide, parallel bands across the town, and the residential lanes squeeze in around them.
The station has a notable place in history. In January 1941, Subhas Chandra Bose boarded a train here during his escape from British surveillance in Calcutta, and the station now carries his name. Beyond the railway, Gomoh is a working town of small streets and railway housing, with open ground and scattered villages in the surrounding countryside.
A Gomoh map poster is a railway map at heart: long, gently curving lines of track with the town gathered on either side of them. It suits railway enthusiasts, families with a history on the line, and anyone who knows the station and the journey that began there.

The Bose connection
The station is named after Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who boarded a train here in 1941 while escaping British surveillance, an event still commemorated locally.
Lanes beside the line
Housing, markets and railway quarters line both sides of the tracks. Their close, irregular pattern contrasts with the straight, wide railway corridor.

Miért Gomoh?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Gomoh is a place people pass through as much as live in, and for many families the railway has been both work and home. A map of the junction marks that bond with the line, and it works just as well as a piece of railway history.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with the station's full name or a date that matters to you. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
