Great North Road
The historic route to Scotland runs north through Gosforth as its High Street. It is the backbone of the map, and residential streets branch away from it.

Gosforth Map Poster & Print
Gosforth lies just north of central Newcastle upon Tyne, and its shape is set by the old Great North Road. The road runs north through the suburb as the High Street, and terraced streets and Victorian and Edwardian homes branch off on either side. Parks and green corridors, including the valley of the Ouseburn, break up the residential grid.
To the south, the Town Moor forms a wide open area between Gosforth and the city centre. To the north, High Gosforth Park contains Newcastle Racecourse, whose large oval stands out clearly from above. The Metro line also runs through the area, connecting Gosforth with the city and the coast.
A Gosforth map poster sets the dense terraces against these large open spaces: moor, racecourse and parkland. The High Street runs up the middle like a spine. It is a natural choice for residents who know every corner of the neighbourhood and for anyone who spent years living here before moving on.

Newcastle Racecourse
In High Gosforth Park the racecourse forms a large oval surrounded by woodland, one of the most distinctive shapes on the northern part of the map.
Town Moor edge
South of the suburb, the Town Moor opens into a wide stretch of common land, giving the print a large calm space next to the terraces.

Miért Gosforth?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Gosforth is where many people rent their first flat, raise a family or settle close to the city. A map of the streets, parks and High Street makes a thoughtful gift for a move or a housewarming.
Personalise the title and subtitle with an address, family name or date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Classic black and white suits the neat pattern of the terraces.
