Gunupur Map Poster & Print
Gunupur lies in Rayagada district in southern Odisha, close to the border with Andhra Pradesh, on the banks of the Vamsadhara river. The river is the town's strongest feature on a map, running along its edge in a broad channel with sandbanks and green banks, while the Eastern Ghats rise in the distance.
The town is a local centre for trade and education, with several colleges and institutes that draw students from across the region. It also sits at the end of a railway branch line, and the tracks and station form a clear straight element in the plan, contrasting with the organic pattern of the older streets.
A Gunupur map poster shows a compact town shaped by its river. The older centre is dense and irregular, newer areas stretch along the main roads, and the Vamsadhara provides a wide, flowing boundary. In black and white, the relationship between water, streets and surrounding fields is simple to read and pleasant to look at.

Miért Gunupur?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Gunupur means a lot to those who grew up here and to the many students who spent their college years in the town. A map of its streets and river is a thoughtful way to remember that time.
