Huatabampo Map Poster & Print
Huatabampo is a city in southern Sonora, Mexico, on the low coastal plain of the Mayo River valley, a short distance from the Gulf of California. The region lives on irrigated agriculture. It is also home to Mayo, or Yoreme, communities whose traditions remain part of local life and ceremony.
On the map, the town is a regular grid of streets and blocks on flat ground. Canals and straight farm roads extend across the plain in every direction. Large rectangular fields surround it and give the landscape a geometric order that nearly mirrors the town's own grid, only on a much larger scale.
Toward the coast, the fields give way to estuaries, lagoons and beaches such as Huatabampito, where land meets sea in soft, irregular lines. A Huatabampo map poster can hold both the measured farm grid and the looser shoreline beyond it. Water shapes the whole composition in two very different forms.

Irrigation canals
Canals and field roads run in long straight lines across the valley. They divide the land into large parcels and carry the town's geometry outward.
Gulf coastline
To the south and west, lagoons and beaches trace the edge of the Gulf of California. Their irregular curves contrast with the ruled lines of the farmland.

Miért Huatabampo?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Huatabampo is the home town of many people who have since moved to Hermosillo, Ciudad Obregón, the United States or elsewhere. A map poster keeps its familiar layout close. The simple grid and the nearby sea are recognisable even without a single label.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family surname or a year, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the HD files for $9 or order a matte print shipped from a nearby print partner.
