Railway edges
Rail lines running near the quarter form long, confident strokes on the map, marking clear boundaries and giving the composition a sense of structure that residential streets alone would lack.

Huby Map Poster & Print
Huby is a residential quarter of Wrocław, lying south of the city centre within the Krzyki district. On a map it appears as a compact block of streets rather than a standalone town, its edges drawn by rail corridors and wide urban roads that separate it from neighbouring districts. The result is a neatly bounded shape, almost an island within the larger city.
Inside those boundaries the street pattern is dense and fairly regular, typical of the tenement neighbourhoods that grew around Wrocław in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Short blocks, courtyards and corner plots produce a fine texture that shows up well in monochrome, with small squares and green patches breaking the rhythm here and there.
A Huby map poster works well at a close zoom, where individual streets remain readable and the railway lines become strong graphic strokes. Widen the frame and the quarter settles into its context, with the Oder and Wrocław's old town appearing to the north. Either way, the print shows a neighbourhood defined as much by its borders as by its streets.

Tenement blocks
The core of Huby is made up of closely packed urban blocks, whose short streets and inner courtyards create an even, fine-grained texture across the centre of the print.
Link to the centre
Main roads lead north toward central Wrocław, so a wider frame naturally connects the neighbourhood with the river, the islands and the historic core of the city.

Miért Huby?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
People hang a map of Huby because they rented a first flat here, studied nearby or grew up among these courtyards. A neighbourhood print is more personal than a whole-city view, focusing on the few streets that actually shaped daily life.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a street name or a moving-in date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a matte print, with or without a wooden frame.
