Valley-floor streets
The main streets run along the valley, giving the town an elongated shape that follows the terrain rather than forming a regular square grid.

Itororó Map Poster & Print
Itororó lies in the south of Bahia, inland from the cacao coast, in a region where cattle ranching has long shaped the landscape. The town occupies a valley among low, rolling hills, and on a map its streets follow the lie of the land, running along the valley floor and climbing the lower slopes in short, irregular blocks.
Beyond the urban edge, the drawing opens into wide pasture with scattered farm buildings, fences and tracks. A few roads connect Itororó with neighbouring towns, bending with the hills as they leave the valley. Small watercourses thread through the lower ground, adding faint lines that echo the shape of the terrain and give the surrounding countryside a gentle structure.
An Itororó map poster shows a town defined by its setting: not a flat grid, but a settlement fitted into its valley. The elongated form of the streets and the soft curves of the roads create a composition that feels grounded and organic. In black and white, the map becomes a clear portrait of the town and the pastoral country that surrounds it.
