Jaworzno Map Poster & Print
Jaworzno lies on the eastern edge of the Silesian conurbation, close to the border with Lesser Poland, and its map looks less like a compact city than a cluster of districts spread across rolling, forested country. Older settlements grew up around coal mines and lime works, and the roads between them still follow the lines of those former villages rather than one planned grid.
Industry left its mark on the landscape. The large Jaworzno power station, with its cooling towers and coal yards, is an unmistakable block on the map, and there are former quarries and sand pits around the town, some of them now flooded and used as lakes for swimming and walking. Forest covers a large share of the municipal area.
A Jaworzno map poster captures that mix of heavy industry and woodland. The centre keeps a small market square and a tight knot of streets, while motorways and rail lines skirt the town on their way between Katowice and Kraków. Seen from above, the green gaps between districts matter as much as the built-up areas.

Flooded pits
Former sand and stone workings have filled with water over the years, leaving irregular lakes with sharp, man-made edges scattered among the forests around the town.
Scattered districts
Instead of one dense core, the town is a loose federation of former villages and mining estates, linked by winding roads through fields and patches of pine forest.

Miért Jaworzno?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Jaworzno is a working town, and families here often go back generations in the mines and power station. The map honours that inheritance, from the industrial blocks to the lakes and forests, in a single clean line drawing that feels at home on a modern wall.
Add a family name, a district or a date to the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles, from Classic to Blueprint, and download print-ready files in six sizes, or order a printed poster.
