La Marque Map Poster & Print
La Marque is a city in Galveston County, Texas, on the low coastal plain just inland from Galveston Bay. From above, the town looks like a spread-out mix of residential grids and larger parcels. Interstate 45 runs through it on its way to the island city of Galveston, only a short drive to the south.
The landscape is almost perfectly flat, and water shapes the map in subtle ways. Bayous and drainage channels wind through the outskirts, and marshland and open fields separate the neighbourhoods from the bay. The street pattern shifts between tidy suburban blocks and long rural roads leading out into the prairie.
A La Marque map poster captures that Gulf Coast geography with clarity. The interstate gives the design a strong axis, and the residential streets fill in around it. The looser shapes of bayous and open land soften the edges, which suits a minimalist print.

Bayous and channels
Slow, winding waterways trace the low ground around the town. On the map they read as fine, irregular lines through the flat landscape.
Suburban grids
Residential areas form neat blocks of streets. Open fields and larger lots separate them, which gives the city a scattered, spacious rhythm.
