Grid around the square
The oldest part of town follows a regular pattern of blocks set around a central square and church, the kind of Spanish colonial layout that still anchors many Paraguayan towns.

Limpio Map Poster & Print
Limpio sits just north of Asunción in Paraguay's Central Department, close enough to the capital to share its growth yet still shaped by the lowlands around it. From above, the town reads as a modest grid of blocks that loosens into scattered streets and fields, with the broad course of the Paraguay River and its marshy margins lying to the west.
The name is usually traced to the colonial description of the area's open, clear fields, and the town dates back to the late eighteenth century. That long settlement shows in a small core around the church and square, while newer neighbourhoods stretch along the roads leading toward Asunción and the other towns of the metropolitan area.
A Limpio map poster captures that transition in a single frame: the dense lines of the centre, the thinning pattern of streets at the fringes, and the soft, irregular shapes of water and wetland. In black and white, the contrast between the planned blocks and the river's unplanned edges becomes the main subject of the print.

River lowlands
To the west the land drops toward the Paraguay River, where channels, lagoons and floodable ground replace streets and give the map a loose, organic border.
Roads to the capital
Main roads run south toward Mariano Roque Alonso and Asunción, and on the map they act as spines along which newer housing has gradually spread.

Miért Limpio?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For people from Limpio, or those with family on the outskirts of Asunción, this map is a quiet reminder of a place that rarely appears on posters. It suits a hallway or a study, where the pattern can be read slowly rather than glanced at.
You can set your own title, add a subtitle or a meaningful date, and edit the coordinates line, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital download includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF.
