Lake plain setting
The town lies on the low ground south of Chao Lake, where flat farmland, small ponds and channels create a finely divided pattern around the built-up area.

Lucheng Map Poster & Print
Lucheng is the seat of Lujiang County in Anhui, under the administration of Hefei. From above, the town sits on low, well-watered ground south of Chao Lake, one of the largest freshwater lakes in China. Its older centre forms a tight cluster of short streets, and newer districts spread outward in larger rectangular blocks with broad avenues between them.
Water is everywhere in this part of Anhui, and the map shows it. Small ponds, channels and reservoirs break up the farmland around the town, and hills begin to rise towards the southwest. The contrast between the flat, gridded fields and the uneven higher ground gives the drawing a clear sense of direction, with the lake plain on one side and rougher country on the other.
A Lucheng map poster reduces all of this to lines and white space. Roads become fine strokes, ponds become small solid shapes, and the edge where the town gives way to farmland stays easy to read. The result is a quiet, balanced composition that works well at every print size, whether you frame the dense centre or pull back to include the surrounding countryside.

Old and new blocks
A tighter grid of older streets at the centre contrasts with the larger, more regular blocks and wide roads of the districts added around it.
Hills to the southwest
Beyond the edge of town the plain begins to lift into hilly country, and the road pattern loosens as it follows the slopes and valleys.

Miért Lucheng?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
People who grew up in Lujiang County, or who left for Hefei and further, often want a small, precise reminder of home. A map of Lucheng does that without sentimentality: the streets you walked, the edge of the fields, the shape of the town you know.
You can add your own title and subtitle, such as a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
