River meanders
The river bends in wide loops past the town, and nearby channels and lagoons create soft, irregular shapes that contrast with the street grid.

Macuspana Map Poster & Print
Macuspana sits in the humid lowlands of southern Tabasco, where rivers meander slowly across flat terrain and water is never far from any street. On a map, the town's compact grid gives way quickly to curving channels, oxbow lagoons and marshy ground, so the poster is almost as much about water as about roads. Highways leave the centre toward Villahermosa and the Chiapas foothills.
The municipality is known across Mexico as the birthplace of former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who was born in the village of Tepetitán. The surrounding basin has long been associated with oil and gas production, and to the south the Agua Blanca state park protects forested hills with waterfalls and caves.
A Macuspana map poster works well for anyone from the town or the wider Tabasco region who wants a record of home that feels precise rather than decorative. The loose, organic outlines of water against the regular blocks of the centre give the design a natural balance, especially in the Paper or Sand styles.

Central grid
The town centre follows a compact, rectilinear layout of blocks, the densest part of the map and the natural focal point of the composition.
Roads across wetlands
Highways run out across low, often waterlogged land, drawn as long straight lines cutting between marshes toward Villahermosa and beyond.

Miért Macuspana?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Tabasqueños living elsewhere in Mexico or abroad often keep something that recalls the heat, the rivers and the green of home. A clean map of Macuspana does that in a restrained way that suits a living room as easily as an office.
Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and edit the title, subtitle and coordinates to add a family name or a date. Order a matte print, with a wooden frame if you like, or download the HD files.
