Manlleu Map Poster & Print
Manlleu lies in the Osona district of Catalonia, north of Vic, on a bend of the River Ter. The river dominates the map. It curves around the town, and its banks are lined with the mill buildings and water channels that powered local industry. The historic centre sits just above the river, with a tight network of streets around the main square.
Like many towns along the Ter, Manlleu grew through the textile industry in the nineteenth century. Its factories used canals that took water from the river. The town now houses the Museu del Ter, which covers that industrial past. On the map, the canals and mill sites appear as long, narrow lines running parallel to the river.
A Manlleu map poster captures a town shaped by water and industry: the river loop, the canals, the old centre and the newer neighbourhoods across the flat land of the Plana de Vic. It suits people with Osona roots and anyone interested in the industrial landscape of Catalonia.

Mill canals
Narrow industrial canals run alongside the river towards old factory sites. They are thin, precise lines that record the town's textile history.
Historic centre
The old streets gather around the main square just above the river. Compared with the more regular newer districts, they form a dense, irregular core.
