Housing blocks
Rows of multi-storey residential buildings form repeated rectangles around courtyards. At poster scale they create a strong, orderly pattern that suits a minimalist print.

Masany Map Poster & Print
Masany is a residential area in the north of Chernihiv, one of the oldest cities in Ukraine. On the map it looks different from the historic centre further south. Instead of the old ramparts and church grounds above the Desna, you see large housing blocks, wide roads between them, and open courtyards set out on a broadly regular plan.
The district's geometry is typical of late twentieth-century residential planning. Long buildings line up in parallel rows or form open squares around shared yards, schools and playgrounds. Main roads mark the edges of each block, and smaller driveways loop inside them. Where the built-up area thins out, lower private houses and garden plots bring a finer, more irregular texture.
Chernihiv as a whole sits beside the Desna River, whose wide floodplain and meanders give the city its southern edge. Framed on its own, a Masany map poster shows the ordered rhythm of a northern neighbourhood. Framed wider, it places that neighbourhood in the larger shape of the city and its river.

Wide main roads
Broad roads divide the district into large blocks and link it to the rest of Chernihiv. They are the clearest lines on the map and give it structure.
Toward the Desna
Beyond the district, Chernihiv slopes toward the Desna River and its floodplain. A wider frame shows the city's northern housing in relation to the valley to the south.
