Dense lane network
Narrow, irregular lanes fill almost every part of the neighbourhood, producing a fine and intricate street texture that reads almost like woven fabric at poster scale.

Mīthepur Map Poster & Print
Mīthepur lies in the southeastern corner of Delhi, near the boundary with Haryana and close to the neighbourhoods of Jaitpur and Badarpur. Once a village on the capital's rural fringe, it has been absorbed by rapid urban growth. From above, the change is obvious: a tightly packed mesh of narrow lanes and small plots, with very little open ground between buildings.
The street pattern here developed incrementally rather than from a master plan, so lanes bend, split and dead-end in ways that make the map unusually intricate. Wider roads connect the area to the rest of the city, while the Agra Canal and the Yamuna floodplain nearby provide the strongest engineered and natural lines in the surrounding landscape.
A Mīthepur map poster captures the character of Delhi's urban villages, places where growth has been fast, dense and self-organised. In black and white, the fine grain of the streets becomes almost like a woven texture. For families who have lived here through the area's transformation, it is a precise record of a neighbourhood that rarely appears on printed maps.

Miért Mīthepur?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Delhi's urban villages hold stories of family land, migration and change within a single generation. A map of Mīthepur gives that story a clear visual form, and its dense street pattern looks striking framed on a wall.
