Planned avenues
Broad, straight avenues divide the town into large regular blocks, a layout typical of Soviet new towns that gives the poster a strong, orderly structure.

Neftekamsk Map Poster & Print
Neftekamsk lies in the northwest of Bashkortostan, close to the Kama river and the Nizhnekamsk Reservoir. The town was established in the late 1950s after oil was discovered nearby and received city status in 1963. The map reflects that origin: wide straight avenues, large residential blocks, and industrial zones placed separately from the housing districts, all laid out in a clear planned structure.
The name combines the Russian word for oil with the Kama, and the local economy has long been connected with oil production and related industries. Forests and water surround the town, so the planned grid sits between green spaces and the wide surface of the reservoir, which gives the town a more open setting than its industrial history might suggest.
A Neftekamsk map poster shows the logic of a Soviet planned town with unusual clarity. Main avenues divide the town into large blocks, microdistricts fill them with buildings, and the industrial areas appear as distinct shapes at the edges. Printed in simple line work, the town becomes a well-ordered graphic pattern.

Microdistrict blocks
Inside each block, residential buildings are arranged around courtyards and inner roads, creating a repeated pattern that reads well at every print size.
Kama waters
The reservoir and river nearby add wide, calm areas of water to the composition and soften the geometry of the planned streets.

Miért Neftekamsk?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Neftekamsk is a young town with a clear design, and many residents or their parents came here to build it. The poster works as a family keepsake or a gift for someone who has moved away from Bashkortostan.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, and you can choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the planned layout especially well. The free 900 px preview shows exactly how it will look.
