Market crossroads
The main roads meet in the centre and form the strongest lines on the poster. The shops and older lanes cluster around this junction, so it anchors the whole composition.

Pālakkodu Map Poster & Print
From above, Pālakkodu is a small town with a dense centre. Lanes gather where the roads from surrounding towns meet, and the built-up area thins quickly into irrigated fields, tanks and rocky outcrops. Few straight lines survive long here. The street pattern grew around trade routes rather than any planned grid, which gives the town an organic, slightly lopsided outline on paper.
The town lies in the Dharmapuri district of northwestern Tamil Nadu. This is upland country, broken by hills at the edge of the Eastern Ghats and farmed intensively between them. Agriculture shapes both the economy and the map: field boundaries, small reservoirs and cart tracks fill the space between the town and the neighbouring villages, and all of it shows as fine linework.
A Pālakkodu map poster keeps this contrast between a tight core and open countryside. In black and white, the town appears as a knot of short streets. Around it, the thinner roads and tank outlines give the composition texture without crowding it. The result is quiet and specific, a record of a place most maps skip over.

Tanks and fields
Irrigation tanks and field boundaries surround the town. They show up as soft shapes and fine lines that contrast with the denser streets at the centre.
Upland setting
Low hills and rocky ground of the Dharmapuri uplands shape where roads can run. This is why the network curves and branches instead of forming a regular grid.
