Contour-following streets
Roads bend with the slope instead of running straight, making loops, switchbacks and dead ends that give the map a soft, almost hand-drawn texture.

Panórama Map Poster & Print
Panórama sits on the slopes east of Thessaloniki, and its streets show it. There is no grid here. The map is drawn almost in contours: roads loop back on themselves to gain height, short lanes end in turning circles, and houses line terraces that follow the hill. From above, the pattern looks loose and organic, a place laid out around gradients rather than blocks.
The name says what the town was built for. From its upper streets the view opens west across the city towards the Thermaic Gulf. Through the twentieth century the area grew into a quieter, greener residential address overlooking Thessaloniki. Today it is part of the municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis and stretches between the urban edge and the wooded ground rising towards Mount Chortiatis.
A Panórama map poster turns that hillside into a study of lines. Winding residential roads read as fine threads, the main routes down towards the city stand out as heavier strokes, and pockets of woodland leave pale open space at the edges. The composition is quiet, and very different from the dense centre of Thessaloniki a few kilometres away.

Wooded edges
Forested hillsides border the built-up area. On the poster they show as open space that frames the streets and marks where the suburb gives way to the slopes.
Routes to the city
A few main roads connect Panórama with the rest of Thessaloniki. They run downhill in longer, steadier curves and anchor the composition among the smaller residential lanes.

Miért Panórama?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For people who grew up here or once lived on these slopes, the map shows something photographs often miss: getting home meant climbing. It suits anyone connected to Thessaloniki who remembers the city from the hill above it rather than from its streets.
You can give the poster your own title, add a subtitle such as a family name or a date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files in six print sizes or order a matte print, framed if you prefer.
