The Pindaré River
The river runs past the town in a series of soft bends. On the poster it is the main line of the composition, giving the street pattern a clear edge and a sense of direction.

Pindaré-Mirim Map Poster & Print
Pindaré-Mirim is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Maranhão, in the valley of the Pindaré River, which gives the town the first half of its name. The second half, mirim, comes from Tupi and means small. On a map, the town reads as a modest cluster of streets on the riverbank, with the curving line of the water setting the edge of the settled area.
From above, the pattern is quiet and legible. A handful of main streets run roughly parallel to the river, crossed by shorter lanes that step inland from the bank. Blocks are loose rather than dense, and the built area thins out quickly. Past the last streets, the drawing opens onto a wide lowland of fields, pasture and seasonally wet ground, where only scattered roads and tracks continue.
A Pindaré-Mirim map poster keeps that balance between a small street network and the much larger landscape around it. The river is the strongest line on the sheet, winding in from one side and leaving by another, while the town takes up a small, precise patch beside it. In black and white, the empty space around the grid matters as much as the streets themselves.

Streets along the bank
The town's main streets follow the direction of the river, with short cross streets leading inland. The result is a simple, orderly network that reads clearly even at small print sizes.
Open lowland beyond
Around the town, the map opens onto a broad, mostly unbuilt lowland crossed by a few roads and tracks. This open ground frames the settlement and leaves plenty of calm space on the sheet.
