The Pojuca River
The river that gives the town its name winds through the valley, and the older streets follow its line, making the watercourse the natural spine of the map.

Pojuca Map Poster & Print
Pojuca lies in the state of Bahia, inland from the Atlantic coast and within reach of Salvador and the industrial area around Camaçari. The town shares its name with the Pojuca River, and from above the water shapes much of the layout. Streets gather along the river valley and then climb gently onto the surrounding higher ground, where newer neighbourhoods spread out.
The land around the town is green and open: pasture, plantations and patches of Atlantic forest cut by small streams. On a map this gives Pojuca a clear boundary, with the dense grid of the centre giving way to scattered roads and rural tracks. A main highway passes nearby, linking the town to the coast and to the interior of the state.
A Pojuca map poster captures a town at a modest scale, where individual blocks remain readable and the curve of the river is easy to follow. In monochrome, the water, the main roads and the neighbourhood streets settle into a calm composition that feels specific to this corner of Bahia rather than to any larger city.

Valley and slopes
The centre sits low while newer districts spread across the rising ground around it, so street patterns change from compact blocks near the river to looser loops above.
Rural surroundings
Beyond the last streets, fields and forest take over. Thin country roads radiate outward, giving the edges of the poster a quieter, more open texture.
