Contour-following roads
The main roads bend around hills instead of cutting through them, so the map is full of gentle curves that trace the shape of the land beneath.

Qiantang Map Poster & Print
Qiantang is a town in Chongqing Municipality, set among the low, rounded hills that cover much of the eastern Sichuan Basin. Unlike the plains towns of northern China, it has no straight grid. Its streets curve with the ground, climbing slightly here and dropping there, and the built-up area follows the valley floor wherever the terrain allows.
Around the town the landscape is crowded with small fields, ponds and farm tracks, many of them shaped by generations of terracing on the slopes. On a map this gives a rich, irregular texture: short curving lines, clusters of houses along the roads, and patches of open ground between the hills.
A Qiantang map poster captures that softness. Rather than blocks and avenues, it shows a town woven into its terrain, with roads that wind like brushstrokes across the sheet. It suits anyone who knows the Chongqing countryside and prefers a map that feels organic, drawn by the land itself rather than by a planner's ruler.

Valley settlement
Houses and shops concentrate on the lower, flatter ground, and the town's outline stretches along it rather than spreading into a round or square footprint.
Terraced countryside
The slopes around town are divided into small fields and ponds, which appear as a dense, fine-grained pattern of short lines and scattered shapes.

Miért Qiantang?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
People who grew up in Qiantang or whose families still farm nearby often want something more personal than a photograph. A map shows the whole town at once, and you can add a title in your own words, a subtitle with a family date, and a coordinates line.
Paper and Sand bring out the organic feel of the curving roads, while Noir turns them into pale lines on a dark field. HD files are $9 and include six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, with no watermark.
