Curving streets
Residential roads loop and branch across the township and end in many cul-de-sacs. Together they create a flowing, leaf-like pattern across the poster.

Randolph Map Poster & Print
Randolph is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, in the hilly country west of Morristown. On a map it looks very different from an urban grid. Instead it shows a network of winding roads, curving streets and cul-de-sacs spread across wooded ridges and valleys. Neighbourhoods were fitted into the terrain rather than placed on a plan.
A few main roads cross the township and connect the scattered residential areas, schools and small commercial centres. Large areas of woodland, parks and open space remain between the neighbourhoods. Ponds and small lakes appear among the trees. The County College of Morris campus is located within the township and forms one of the larger clearly defined sites on the map.
A Randolph map poster shows a suburban American landscape at its most organic. Loops, branches and dead ends fill the sheet, broken by broad green spaces. It is a place defined by homes and hills rather than by a single centre, and the map reflects that.

Wooded ridges
Hills and forest separate the neighbourhoods and leave large, quiet spaces on the map. They show how much of the township remains green.
College campus
The County College of Morris occupies a large site inside the township. Its buildings and grounds are one of the clearest planned shapes in the layout.
