Repentigny Map Poster & Print
Repentigny stretches along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec's Lanaudière region, across the water from the eastern end of the island of Montreal. The L'Assomption River enters the St. Lawrence here, and these two rivers shape the map. A long, straight shoreline road runs along one side, and the winding tributary cuts through the city.
It is among the oldest French settlements in the region, with roots in the seventeenth century, and traces of its early riverfront lots can still be seen in places. Most of the city, however, is modern suburban development. Curving residential streets, parks and schools fill the land between the river and the highways that lead to Montreal.
A Repentigny map poster places the city between water and land. The broad St. Lawrence, its scattered islands and the looping L'Assomption create generous open shapes, while the suburban neighbourhoods fill the rest with fine detail. The map shows why people settled here more than three centuries ago: the river was the road, and it still shapes the view.

L'Assomption River
The river winds through the city before joining the St. Lawrence. Its loops cut across the neighbourhoods and add soft curves to the map.
River islands
Low islands in the St. Lawrence appear as quiet shapes offshore, breaking up the stretch of water between Repentigny and the island of Montreal.

Miért Repentigny?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Families who have lived along the river for generations, commuters who cross into Montreal every day and people who left Lanaudière often want this shoreline on their wall. The rivers make it an easy map to recognise.
Edit the title and subtitle, perhaps with a street name, a family name or a date, and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Choose HD digital files or a printed poster with an optional frame.
