Amik Plain setting
The town lies on one of Hatay's broad agricultural plains. On the map, straight rural roads and rectangular field divisions spread out in every direction, giving the composition a calm, measured frame.

Reyhanlı Map Poster & Print
Reyhanlı sits at the southeastern edge of the Amik Plain in Turkey's Hatay province, a few kilometres from the Syrian border. From above, the town reads as a dense core of short, closely set streets surrounded by a patchwork of cultivated land. The plain is flat enough that roads run long and straight between fields, and the town's outline stands out clearly against the regular pattern of farm plots around it.
The street network is practical rather than planned for show. A handful of main roads carry traffic in and out, connecting the town to Antakya to the southwest and to the nearby Cilvegözü border gate, one of the region's main crossings. Between these routes, residential blocks fill in tightly, and on the edges the built area thins into lanes, orchards and scattered buildings before giving way to open fields.
A Reyhanlı map poster turns this mix of town and farmland into a quiet study in contrast. The fine mesh of streets at the centre prints as a darker mass, while the surrounding roads and field tracks become thin, spaced lines. The name is usually linked to reyhan, the Turkish word for basil, a small detail that suits a place so closely tied to the land around it.

Dense town core
At the centre, short streets and small blocks pack together into a compact knot. Printed in black and white, this area forms the visual anchor of the poster against the lighter countryside.
Roads to the border
Routes leading east and south point toward the Syrian frontier and the Cilvegözü crossing nearby, while the road southwest heads to Antakya. These lines give the map a clear sense of direction.

Miért Reyhanlı?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
People hang a map of Reyhanlı because it is home, or was once, or because family roots run back to Hatay. The plain, the tight streets and the roads out of town are shapes that carry memory, and a minimalist print keeps them without clutter.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name, a year or a date that matters. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files or order a printed poster, framed or unframed.
