Ripon Map Poster & Print
Ripon lies in the southern corner of San Joaquin County, where Highway 99 crosses the Stanislaus River between Manteca and Modesto. The river forms the town's southern edge and the county line, and on a map its wooded, winding course sets a soft boundary against the straight lines of the town. North of it, a compact grid of streets gathers around an older centre close to the railway.
Beyond the houses the pattern turns to farmland, and much of that farmland is orchard. Ripon is closely tied to the almond industry, and its annual Almond Blossom Festival celebrates the spring flowering that turns the surrounding fields white. From above, the orchards appear as neat rectangular blocks, the same geometry as the town grid carried out into the flat Central Valley.
The town was named after Ripon in Wisconsin, the home town of an early settler, and it has kept a strong small-town identity. A Ripon map poster captures that scale well: the grid, the highway, the river and the fields fit together in one clear composition. It works for residents, for families with roots in the valley and for anyone who has passed through on 99.

Highway 99 corridor
The main north–south route of the Central Valley passes straight through town, with the railway alongside, giving the composition a strong diagonal axis.
Orchard geometry
Almond orchards surround the town in regular rectangular blocks, continuing the logic of the street grid out into the flat agricultural landscape.
