Chattahoochee River edge
The river forms Roswell's southern boundary as it curls past parks and floodplain. On the poster it gives the composition a strong lower edge, and the street network bends to follow it.

Roswell Map Poster & Print
Roswell sits on the north bank of the Chattahoochee River, which traces the city's southern edge in loose bends before heading on toward Atlanta. From above, the pattern is clearly suburban Georgia: curving collector roads, cul-de-sacs branching off like leaves, and wide areas of tree cover. On a map these show up as quiet, empty space between the streets.
The historic core is the exception. Around the old town square, a tighter set of streets survives from the 1830s, when Roswell King and his associates founded a mill settlement on Vickery Creek. The creek cuts a steep, narrow valley down to the river, and the ruins of the cotton mill still stand beside it. Bulloch Hall, where Theodore Roosevelt's parents married, lies a few blocks west.
A Roswell map poster shows both layers at once: the small grid of a nineteenth-century mill town and the looser suburban fabric that grew up around it. Georgia State Route 400 runs along the eastern side as a clean, straight line, and the river and creek supply the only real curves of water. In black and white, the contrast between the dense core and the green fringe reads clearly.

Vickery Creek valley
A narrow creek runs down through wooded slopes to join the Chattahoochee, passing the ruins of the 1830s mill where the town began. It appears as a thin, winding thread through the historic district.
Historic town square
The old square and the few blocks around it have the tightest street pattern in the city. This small, orderly cluster stands apart from the looping residential roads further out.

Miért Roswell?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Roswell tends to attract people who put down roots: families who moved up from Atlanta, people who grew up walking the mill trail, couples who married in the historic district. A map holds all of those routes without needing a photograph. It shows just the river, the creek and the streets in between.
You can add your own title and subtitle, such as a family name or the date you moved in, along with a coordinates line. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
