Caspian shoreline
The sea runs along the north of town as a long, smooth line, which gives the composition a strong horizontal base and a clear sense of orientation.

Rūdsar Map Poster & Print
Rūdsar lies in eastern Gilan, on the narrow green plain between the Caspian Sea and the Alborz range. From above, the town is a compact core of short streets that quickly loosens into lanes, field boundaries and scattered houses. The coast lies a short distance to the north and the land rises steadily to the south, so the map has a clear direction, with water on one side and slopes on the other.
The name is usually read as 'river head', and water is the organising line here. Streams come down from the mountains and cross the plain toward the sea, drawing thin threads through the map and bending the roads around them. Around the town, paddies and garden plots make a fine, irregular texture that looks very different from the dense block grids of Iran's inland cities.
A Rūdsar map poster keeps that contrast in plain black and white: the coastal road running parallel to the shore, the town's tight centre, and the softer network of rural paths spreading toward the hills. Eastern Gilan is known for its tea gardens and rice fields, and even without colour the map shows a landscape shaped by rain, rivers and careful farming.

Mountain streams
Streams coming down from the Alborz cut across the plain toward the coast, and their curving paths contrast with the straighter lines of the main roads.
Field-pattern outskirts
Beyond the centre, lanes follow the edges of paddies and garden plots, producing a fine, irregular mesh that fills the paper with quiet detail.
