Spoil heap outline
The Szarlota heap shows as a large, blunt shape next to the mine grounds. Few other towns have a landmark this big made entirely of mining waste.

Rydułtowy Map Poster & Print
Seen from above, Rydułtowy does not have a single centre. Housing estates, older brick streets and patches of green are strung along roads that climb and dip over the rolling ground of Upper Silesia. The town sits in Wodzisław County, close to Rybnik, and its street pattern reads like a map of the work that shaped it.
That work was coal. The mine at Rydułtowy has run for more than two centuries, and on a map its presence shows up as shafts, rail sidings and the large outline of the Szarlota spoil heap, one of the tallest in Poland. Industrial land and small gardens sit side by side, and the effect is unusual and quite graphic.
A Rydułtowy map poster turns this mix into clear black lines and white space. Winding residential lanes, the straighter lines of rail and main roads, and the soft edges of woodland all come through well in monochrome. Anyone who grew up among Silesian mining towns will recognise the rhythm straight away, even without knowing this particular street plan.

Mine and rail
Shafts, sidings and service roads mark the industrial core. Their straight geometry runs against the curving residential streets around them.
Scattered estates
Housing clusters sit apart from each other and are joined by roads through fields and trees. Seen from above, they read as separate islands of streets.

Miért Rydułtowy?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For families with roots in the Rybnik coal basin, this map holds shift work, estates and a hill that people made. It suits a hallway or study where it can prompt a story, and the title can carry a surname or the year someone started at the mine.
You can choose from five styles. Classic black & white and Noir suit the industrial outline, while Paper and Sand soften it for a living room. The digital files cost $9, or you can order a printed poster on matte paper, with or without a wooden frame.
