Canal network
Irrigation canals and smaller channels cross the plain in straight lines. They divide the fields into regular blocks and form the backbone of the rural landscape.

Sadulshahar Map Poster & Print
Sadulshahar is a town in Sri Ganganagar district, in the far north of Rajasthan close to the border with Punjab. There are no dunes here like those further south. The region is flat, irrigated farmland, transformed by canals during the twentieth century. On the map, the landscape is a grid of fields and farm tracks, with the town forming a denser cluster where roads converge.
The town has a compact centre of market streets and residential lanes, with newer areas spreading outward along the main roads. Roads to nearby villages and towns radiate from the centre and add long straight strokes to the plan. Canals and smaller channels cross the countryside in thin lines, often at an angle to the roads, dividing the land into precise, rectangular parcels.
A Sadulshahar map poster shows a landscape made by irrigation. Fields, channels and roads are laid out with near-geometric regularity, and the town is the local centre for trade and services. It is an understated place, but its map has a clean, orderly structure that suits the minimalist style well.

Field grid
Around the town, farmland is divided into rectangular plots bordered by tracks. In black and white, the pattern becomes a fine, precise lattice.
Market centre
The town's compact core gathers shops and homes where the main roads meet. It stands out clearly as the densest point on the map.
