Sakrand Map Poster & Print
Sakrand lies in the Shaheed Benazirabad district of Sindh, on the flat left-bank plain of the Indus. The landscape around it is almost entirely agricultural, sustained by the canal system that carries river water across the province. From above, the town is a dense cluster of streets and markets surrounded by fields that reach to the horizon in every direction.
Irrigation defines the map. Canals and distributaries run in long, gently curving lines, and smaller watercourses branch off to feed the farmland. Roads often follow these channels, so the countryside is organised around water. Cotton, wheat and sugarcane are important crops in the district, and the field boundaries form a fine, irregular mesh around the town.
A Sakrand map poster captures a typical Sindhi market town at the centre of farming country: a compact, busy core, main roads running out toward neighbouring towns, and a surrounding net of canals and fields. On such a flat plain, the waterways become the main lines of the composition.

Market town core
The centre is a dense tangle of streets and bazaars. It forms the darkest, most detailed part of the poster, set against the open farmland.
Field patchwork
Cultivated plots surround the town in an irregular mesh of boundaries and tracks. The pattern gives the outer map a soft, textured background.

Miért Sakrand?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For people from Sakrand, or families with land and roots in Shaheed Benazirabad district, a map records the real geography of home: canals, roads and the town at their centre. It is a modest, meaningful picture to hang far from Sindh.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed, for example to add a family name or a date in Urdu or Sindhi. Five styles are available, from Classic black & white to Sand. Buy the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
