Township colonies
Residential sectors built for power station staff appear as tidy blocks of parallel roads and short lanes. This planned pattern stands out clearly against the rural country around it.

Sārni Map Poster & Print
Sārni is an industrial town in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, set among the forested ridges of the Satpura range. Its identity is tied to the Satpura Thermal Power Station, and the map reflects that. A planned township of residential colonies and straight internal roads sits beside the large, geometric footprint of the plant and the railway lines that serve it.
Water is the other defining shape. A reservoir lies close to the town, pushing its irregular shoreline into the surrounding hills. It gives the map a broad open area that balances the dense layout of the housing. Around it, roads wind through wooded country, and the mining settlements of the area appear as smaller clusters joined by thin lines.
For many families Sārni is defined by work at the power station and the mines, and by the orderly colony life that grew up around them. A Sārni map poster keeps that character easy to read: the regular blocks of the township, the curves of the water and the hills shown as quiet white space around the streets.

Reservoir shoreline
The irregular edge of the reservoir winds into the hills near the town. It adds a large open shape to the composition and softens the straight lines of the industrial layout.
Satpura ridges
Forested slopes surround Sārni, so roads bend along the contours. The map fades from a dense centre into sparse, curving lines towards its edges.

Miért Sārni?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Sārni means a great deal to people who grew up in its colonies or spent years working at the power station and nearby mines. A map of the township is a quiet way to keep that place close after moving to another city or country.
The poster can carry a personal title, a subtitle such as the years you lived there, and the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the engineering side of the town, while Sand gives it a warmer finish.
