Hilltop market square
The market and church occupy the crest of the hill, so the old town sits at the visual centre of the poster with streets climbing toward it from every side.

Schneeberg Map Poster & Print
Schneeberg grew up in the late fifteenth century after rich silver finds in the western Ore Mountains, and the town still sits on the hill that made it wealthy. Streets climb from the valleys on several sides and meet at the market square on the crest. From above, the plan looks like a crown set on a slope, with lanes pulled upward toward the centre.
The landmark at the top is St. Wolfgang, a large late-Gothic hall church often called the miners' cathedral of the Ore Mountains. Around it, the tightly built old town gives way to newer housing on the lower slopes and to woodland and old mining ground beyond. The town is also known for its Christmas tradition of lit candle arches in the windows.
A Schneeberg map poster captures that rise and fall. Roads bend with the contours instead of following a grid, and the densest blocks gather where the hill flattens out. In black and white, the pattern reads as one of the more sculptural small-town plans in Saxony, shaped entirely by terrain and by the mines that paid for it.

St. Wolfgang church
The large late-Gothic hall church, built with silver-mining wealth, anchors the upper town and is one of the defining buildings of the western Ore Mountains.
Contour-following roads
Outside the centre, roads loop and switch back across the slopes, giving the map a curving, terraced texture that reflects the steep ground beneath the town.

Miért Schneeberg?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Schneeberg means a lot to people from the Ore Mountains and to those who keep its mining and Christmas traditions. The map shows the town's structure in one clean image, with the hill, the square and the roads spreading down from them.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a year or a family name, and choose between Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper or Sand pairs especially well with the old-town character.
