Sombor Map Poster & Print
Sombor, in Serbia's Vojvodina province close to the Hungarian and Croatian borders, has one of the most legible town plans in the Pannonian Plain. Its historic core is encircled by the Venac, a ring of tree-lined boulevards that follows the line of the old fortifications. From above, the centre reads as a neat oval of streets with a clear edge.
Inside the ring, streets meet at small squares lined with low Baroque and nineteenth-century buildings. Outside it, the town spreads out into wide residential blocks and then into flat fields scored by long straight roads and drainage channels. The Great Bačka Canal passes nearby, a reminder of the waterworks that shaped this lowland region.
Sombor is often called one of Serbia's greenest towns, thanks to the many trees along its streets and boulevards. A Sombor map poster turns that orderly plan into a striking graphic: a ring within a grid within a plain, each layer easy to pick out in black and white.

Historic centre
Inside the ring, short streets and small squares form a denser, more intricate pattern, where the town's Baroque buildings and main public spaces are found.
Plain and canals
Beyond the town, straight farm roads and drainage channels cross the flat Bačka landscape, adding long lines that contrast with the rounded centre.

Miért Sombor?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Sombor's ring-shaped centre is one of those plans that looks good at any size, so the poster works for people from the town and for anyone who simply likes clear urban geometry. It suits a living room wall or a pair of framed prints.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as the year you lived there, and a coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and get either the $9 digital files in six print sizes or a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
