South Croydon Map Poster & Print
South Croydon lies just south of central Croydon in the London Borough of Croydon. On the map the Brighton Road is the backbone. It runs roughly north to south, following the valley floor, with the railway close beside it. Residential streets climb the slopes on both sides, and they curve more as the ground rises.
The housing is mostly Victorian and Edwardian terraces and semi-detached houses, with larger interwar homes further up the hillsides. From above, the streets form long, gently bending rows with regular back gardens between them. Parks and school grounds create open spaces within the pattern, and the green belt of the North Downs is not far to the south.
A South Croydon map poster captures a typical London suburb: a main road along the valley, rail lines beside it, and residential streets curving up the hills. The design is ordered and quiet, and anyone who has walked those streets will recognise the curves and junctions.

The railway corridor
The tracks follow the valley beside the main road. Together they create a strong north–south band through the middle of the map.
Hillside crescents
On both sides of the valley the streets bend to follow the slopes. These curving crescents and cul-de-sacs give the map its gentle rhythm.
