St. Lucie River
The wide river curves past the town, and its two forks meet nearby. These broad open shapes anchor the whole poster.

Stuart Map Poster & Print
Stuart is the seat of Martin County on Florida's Treasure Coast, and water dominates its map. The town sits along the St. Lucie River near the point where the river's north and south forks meet, upstream of the Indian River Lagoon and the St. Lucie Inlet. Much of the frame is open water, bordered by irregular shorelines.
The historic downtown is close to the river, with a small grid of streets near the water. The Roosevelt Bridge carries U.S. 1 across to the north shore. Beyond the center, neighborhoods follow the shoreline with finger canals and docks, giving the map a fringed, detailed edge where streets end at private waterways.
Stuart calls itself the Sailfish Capital of the World, a reminder of how closely the town is tied to fishing and boating. A Stuart map poster turns that connection into a composition of line and water, in which the river, lagoon and inlet take up as much space as the streets.

Roosevelt Bridge
U.S. 1 crosses the river on this bridge between downtown and the north shore. It is a single strong line across the largest stretch of water on the map.
Canal neighborhoods
Residential streets end in narrow finger canals lined with docks. This comb-like pattern makes the waterfront edges some of the most detailed parts of the design.
