Contour-following streets
Most streets run along the hillsides instead of straight up them, tracing the shape of the land and producing long curving lines that give the map its flowing character.

A térkép
Surif City Map Poster & Print
Surif sits in the hills north-west of Hebron in the southern West Bank. The terrain here is steep and broken, and on a map the town appears as a spread of streets following the contours of the slopes, with houses stepping up and down the hillsides rather than filling a flat plan. Roads curl around ridges and drop into the dips between them.
The surrounding countryside is dominated by terraced farmland, much of it planted with olive trees, a pattern common across the Hebron hills. Stone walls and terraces have shaped these slopes for generations and give the land around the town much of its character. The town belongs to the Hebron Governorate, and its links run toward Hebron and the nearby villages.
A Surif City map poster records a town shaped by topography. Nothing here runs straight for long; streets bend, fork and double back as they find their way along the hills. In a minimalist print that restlessness becomes an elegant, flowing pattern, very different from the grids of lowland towns.

Slopes and hollows
The town spreads across uneven ground, so dense clusters of streets on the slopes alternate with emptier dips and ridges, creating a natural rhythm across the composition.
Terraced surroundings
Beyond the built-up area, farmland and olive groves on terraced slopes appear as open space, crossed by a few narrow roads that link Surif to nearby villages.
