A térkép
Tatuí Map Poster & Print
Tatuí lies in the interior of São Paulo state, west of Sorocaba, in a landscape of gentle hills, pasture and cane fields. From above, the older centre shows the orderly block pattern common to towns of the region, with a central square and streets running in near-straight lines. Newer neighbourhoods spread outward in looser patches, following the contours between shallow valleys.
The town is known across Brazil as the capital of music. Its state conservatory, the Conservatório de Tatuí, is among the largest music schools in Latin America and draws students from far beyond the region. That reputation gives the place an identity out of proportion to its size, and many people who studied there keep a strong attachment to its streets.
A Tatuí map poster captures the town at the scale of daily routine: the walk from the centre to rehearsal, the roads out toward neighbouring towns, the way the grid softens at its edges into farmland. In monochrome the pattern becomes calm and legible, a clear portrait of an inland Paulista town.

Expanding neighbourhoods
Beyond the centre, newer districts form irregular clusters along the terrain, with curving streets and cul-de-sacs that contrast with the straight lines of the old town.
Regional roads
Highways and country roads leave town in several directions, linking Tatuí to Sorocaba and the wider interior of São Paulo state.

Miért Tatuí?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Former conservatory students, musicians and families from the town often want a reminder of the place where years of practice happened. A map of Tatuí is understated enough for a studio or living room, and specific enough to mean something to anyone who knows it.
Add a title, a subtitle with a graduation year or a date that matters, and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available, from Classic black & white and Noir to Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 HD download or a printed poster.
