Harbour and breakwaters
Piers, breakwaters and terminal areas extend into the sea. They form a bold geometric edge along the waterfront and are the clearest industrial feature of the map.

Tuapse Map Poster & Print
Tuapse stands on the Black Sea coast of Krasnodar Krai, where the Tuapse River reaches the sea between steep, forested foothills of the Caucasus. On a map the narrow setting shapes the whole town. Streets fill the river valley and the slopes above it, the harbour takes up the waterfront, and the mountains press in close behind.
Tuapse is one of the main oil ports on Russia's Black Sea coast, with a large refinery and terminal, and the harbour's breakwaters and piers form some of the strongest geometric lines on the map. The coastal railway runs along the shore toward Sochi in the southeast, and another line climbs inland through the mountains.
A Tuapse map poster captures a town that has had to fit itself into the terrain. Residential districts climb the hillsides on winding roads, the river valley forms a corridor inland, and small coastal settlements continue along the shore on either side. The result is a detailed, lively composition with a strong sense of place between mountain and sea.

Tuapse River valley
The river cuts inland from the harbour through a narrow valley, with roads and neighbourhoods following it, giving the map a strong central line.
Hillside streets
Roads climb the surrounding slopes in tight bends and switchbacks, creating a lively pattern of curves that contrasts with the straight lines of the port.

Miért Tuapse?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Tuapse is a map for people who grew up by the harbour, worked at the port or spent summers on this stretch of coast. Its mix of sea, mountains and industry makes a portrait quite unlike a typical resort town.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name or date, and keep or hide the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then order a printed poster or download all six sizes for $9.
