Central grid
The historic core follows a regular block plan anchored by the main square and parish church, so the densest, most even pattern on the poster sits right at its heart.

Tuxpan Map Poster & Print
Tuxpan sits in southern Jalisco, close to the border with Colima, on land that rises gradually toward the volcanic massif to the west. Seen from above, the town is a tight block pattern around a central square and church, the classic plan of Mexican towns laid out in the colonial era. Beyond the last streets the pattern loosens into fields, orchards and country roads that run out across the valley.
The town is known across the region for its religious festivals, when dancers in traditional costume fill the streets around the centre. It also keeps strong Indigenous roots, and older customs survive alongside the everyday life of a market town serving the surrounding farms. Much of the land around it is given over to agriculture, and the rhythm of planting and harvest shapes the countryside you see on the map.
A Tuxpan map poster reduces all of this to line and space: the dense square blocks of the centre, the thinner roads that leave town in several directions, and the watercourses that cut through the fields. In black and white, the contrast between the orderly core and the looser rural edges becomes the main subject, which suits a town whose character comes from that meeting of street and field.

Valley farmland
Around the town, roads and field boundaries spread across the valley floor, giving the outer edges of the map a softer, more open texture than the centre.
Roads to the region
Several roads leave Tuxpan toward neighbouring towns in Jalisco and Colima, drawing long lines that tie the compact centre to the wider landscape.

Miért Tuxpan?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
People with family ties to Tuxpan often want something that shows the town as they remember walking it, from the plaza outward. A clean street map does that without leaning on photographs, and it sits easily in a modern room while still pointing clearly to one specific place.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a date such as a wedding or a festival year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files or order a printed poster.
